Permanent Makeup (Combination Brow/ Powder Brow)

Eyebrow Tattooing is a permanent way to enhance your brows and save you time in the mornings.  The process involves mapping out your eyebrows to provide an outline of your new brows, before shading them in with a customized color. Your eyebrows will fade naturally over time and will require a colour boost after about 1 1/2 - 2 years.

Combination Brows - Combination brows involve 2 techniques to create a natural looking, but defined eyebrow. The brows will be shaded in with a fine needle first, and then a microblading hand tool will be used to create hair strokes in the front of the eyebrow to give the illusion of a "fluffy" eye brow. This style of eyebrows is perfect for someone who likes to wear makeup daily, but still desires a natural look.

Powder Brows - The Powder Brow style involves shading in the eyebrows from tail to front, gradually becoming softer towards the front of the brow. This style provides structure and definition, it mimics the look of eyebrows that have been filled in with powder, to fill any gaps and correct uneven eyebrows.

Permanent Makeup Pre-Care Instructions

For the best possible outcome, it is important to follow the pre-care instructions prior to having your eyebrows done.

1. Avoid botox in the treatment area prior to the appointment for 4 weeks.

2. Avoid facials, laser treatments, microdermabrasion or chemical peels 2 weeks before and after your eyebrow appointment.

3. Avoid skincare with active ingredients such as Vitamin A (Retinol), AHAs or BHAs for two weeks before and after your eyeybrow appointment.

4. Avoid excessive sun exposure a week before the appointment as well as throughout the healing process (roughly 10- 14 days)

5. Avoid blood thinners such as caffeine, alcohol and blood thinning medication at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. Failure to do so can lead to excessive bleeding which can lead to poor healed results. Please consult with your doctor prior to stopping any medications.

6. Avoid exercising the day of your appointment, as well as drinking large amounts of water

7. If you have oily skin, you can exfoliate with a gentle scrub the morning of your appointment.
